Internet Bingo

Games such as bingo or online bingo, unlike other gambling games, are most similar to a lottery. If you want to play Bingo, you have to purchase at least one Bingo card divided into numbered and blank squares. A bingo banker picks numbers at random – up to 75 American Bingo or 90 in European Bingo variant of game, also called Tombola. When playing online bingo, Bingo cards are randomly selected for the player. Most online bingo games give you 3 or 4 cards. Other games let you take more. Every online bingo game has a banker or a display board for the bingo numbers. The game pattern is also displayed. Some games automatically mark the numbers on your Bingo card for you.

All Bingo or online bingo players scan their cards to see if the numbers called appear. The game goes on until one player completes a ‘Bingo’ line with five numbers in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row on one of their cards and wins the prize. So, the winner of the game is the first Bingo player to achieve a card or a line containing the numbers called. Then you shout “Bingo” and collect the stake money.

You play Bingo with a Bingo card, which normally contains 24 numbered spaces and one free space or blank space. Bingo players have a unique opportunity to choose from thousands of special Bingo cards. There exist even unduplicated series from 6,000 to 9,000 Bingo cards. Bingo cards always have a certain series number printed on them. It means that a card with a particular number will always have the same numbers in the same spaces. The numbers are assigned at random on each card and are arranged in five columns of five numbers each by five rows (5×5 = 25 in total including the blank square). Bingo players buy cards with numbers on them in a 5×5 corresponding to the five letters in the word B-I-N-G-O, as described below:

- The numbers in the ‘B’ column are between 1 and 15

- The numbers in the ‘I’ column are between 16 and 30

- The numbers in the ‘N’ column (containing four numbers and the free

space) are between 31 and 45

- The numbers in the ‘G’ column are between 46 and 60

- And, finally, the numbers in the O column are between 61 and 75

The banker announces the Bingo numbers quite quickly. That is why such games as bingo require careful attention from the player. You need to mark the numbers quickly and accurately on your card(s). When one or more players claim Bingo the caller stops calling numbers and the game

stops. Then the numbers are carefully verified. If there is a winner, the prize is awarded and a new Bingo game begins with new cards. If there is more than one winner, the prize is split among all the

winners.
